Progressive metal group Code Eternal made waves with the release of their single “Brace Yourself” on October 10, 2025. It marks the first single from their long-awaited debut album.
Code Eternal is fronted by guitarist Juho "JRM" Ranta-Maunus, who at just 14 years old won Guitar World Magazine’s “Young Guitarist of the Year” in 2020. Founded in 2021, Code Eternal quickly turned heads with their 2022 debut EP Sixth Wave. Now, three years later they return stronger, sharper and more ambitious than ever.
“Brace Yourself” dives into thought-provoking territory, drawing inspiration from the concept of artificial intelligence evolving into a self-defending entity that could challenge humanity’s existence. Code Eternal's music is a dynamic blend of progressive metal, heavy riffs, and funk-infused grooves, elevated by pulsating synth layers that add depth and urgency to the band’s sound.
